User direction captured 2026-05-21: the mini-split is a critical build item, and the preferred first-pass concept is to mount the condenser/outdoor assembly on a passenger-side rear-door frame or rear-door-adjacent utility carrier, with the indoor evaporator likely hidden in a cabinet if airflow and service access can be made clean. The same passenger-side rear-door frame may also become the mounting platform for fuel and water carriers. The driver-side rear door is the current preferred spare-tire rack location.
Treat this as a design direction, not an approved install detail. The canonical mini-split inventory row is still only received - metadata incomplete, and the project still lacks the actual label, manual, installed weight, refrigerant line constraints, condensate requirements, and manufacturer mounting instructions.
