This page is the measurement source of truth for layout, fit, and system coordination. Record how each measurement was taken, from what reference point, and whether it is raw van sheet metal, framed, insulated, or finished.
TBD measurement or fit-check rows. Add a row only when the measurement target is a real van dimension, component, clearance, or reference line.| Measurement | Value | Reference Points | Raw / Finished | Date | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Floor length | not yet captured | Rear of front seats to rear door threshold | raw | not yet measured | |
| Max interior width | not yet captured | Wall to wall at widest point | raw | not yet measured | |
| Bed-height width | not yet captured | Wall to wall at planned bed height | raw | not yet measured | Critical for crosswise bed decision. |
| Standing height | not yet captured | Floor to lowest ceiling point | raw | not yet measured | |
| Rear door opening | not yet captured | Width x height | raw | not yet measured | The local Ford 2022MY body guide is now indexed as a general upfitter reference, but it does not close this row with one exact opening dimension in the saved PDF. Field-capture this if the bike tray or shower packaging gets tight. |
| Side door opening | not yet captured | Width x height | raw | not yet measured | The local Ford 2022MY body guide is now indexed as a general upfitter reference, but it does not close this row with one exact opening dimension in the saved PDF. Field-capture this if galley or shower routing gets tight. |
These are acceptable first-pass planning dimensions for the documented 2025 Ford Transit cargo van configuration (148 in wheelbase, high roof, extended body), but they do not replace physical width capture from the real van after the floor, wall, and trim stack are chosen.
| Planning Dimension | Value | Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Max cargo width | 70.2 in |
Ford Transit cargo-van specifications carried on current Ford regional Transit spec pages | Use as the best current source-backed planning width for broad floor-coverage checks and high-wall packaging, not as a final cut width. |
| Cargo width between SRW wheelhouses | 54.8 in |
Ford 2025 Transit technical specifications PDF and current Ford cargo-van model/spec pages |
This is the narrowest currently sourced floor-width constraint in the cargo area and is the stronger first-pass check for floor material spanning the wheelhouse corridor. |
Implication for finish flooring:
72 in wide finish-flooring sheet is wider than the currently sourced 70.2 in max cargo-width planning basis and wider than the 54.8 in wheelhouse corridor, so it is a viable one-sheet planning width for this van.Max interior width measurement row from physical capture yet, because the true installed floor template still depends on the real shell, the delivered heated-floor shape, step/threshold treatment, and any trim overlap at the doors.Use /van/artifacts/manuals/ford/my2022-ford-transit-e-transit-body-guide.pdf as a Ford platform-level constraint source for measurement and penetration planning, not as a substitute for the real van.

| Rixen heated floor assembly | 1.0" nominal before finish floor | not yet measured | pending | Current Rixen heated-floor product guidance summarized on Rixen Hydronic Heat and Floor | Current source-backed expectation is 3/4" foam plus 1/4" overlay. Confirm real installed height above factory ribs before shower drain, seat-base drilling, and cabinet anchoring. |
| Tetravan shower folded package | Outer flange about 23 3/8" W x 32 1/2" H; slot about 22" W x 32" H; closed body depth 3.5" plus about 3.5" behind for plumbing; open pan projection 25" |
not yet measured in van | pending | Current Tetravan 2.1 product page and 2024-11 customer drawing summarized on Water and Plumbing and Bed Height and Bike Garage |
Stronger current source is the 2.1 product page plus the 2024-11 drawing. Tetravan FAQ still contains one conflicting older install-height number; do not use that looser figure without reconciling it. |
| Heated floor plumbing exits | 5 possible exit routes; exact installed route not yet captured | not yet measured | pending | Current ordered-floor mapping already summarized on Climate and Insulation and Rixen Hydronic Heat and Floor | Current product-page mapping for the ordered floor points to a rear-driver-exit-with-chase variant; verify actual panel exit locations before plumbing and drain penetrations. |
| AVC step and trim | not yet defined by ordered trim variant | not yet measured | pending | AVC trim-step selection remains unresolved on Gaps and Questions and Interior Layout | Confirm front/side/rear trim overlap against actual heated-floor thickness and door thresholds. |
RB Components 60" DIY slide tray kit |
60" full slide out; tray height 3.5"; slide rating 500 lb depending on mounting method |
not yet measured in van | pending | Current RB Components product page and installation instructions summarized on Bed Height and Bike Garage | Treat the 3.5" tray figure as a provisional tray-family planning input only. The repo does not currently prove that this tray has been ordered or received. Remaining bed-height unknowns are the actual tray-in-hand measurement, fork-block standoff, and whether the working bike-height number is measured from tray deck or floor. |
| Velotric Nomad 2X storage envelope | 80 lb bike, 700 mm handlebar width |
not yet measured | pending | Order 103774 bike identity and official product geometry already summarized on Bed Height and Bike Garage |
Order 103774 bike is Step-Thru / Sage. Official page lists 80 lb bike weight, 120 lb rear-rack capacity, and 801.6Wh battery. Measure actual overall length, handlebar-to-ground height, and battery-removal clearance before building the tray. |
| Velotric Nomad 2 storage envelope | 75 lb bike, 1230 mm wheelbase, 1060 mm handlebar height |
not yet measured | pending | Order 103774 bike identity and official product geometry already summarized on Bed Height and Bike Garage |
Order 103774 bike is Step-Thru / Regular / Olive. Official page lists 75 lb weight, 705.6Wh battery, and step-thru regular geometry with 1230 mm wheelbase and 1060 mm handlebar height. Measure actual overall length and tray capture points before building the slide-out. |
| Combined ebike garage load | About 155 lb bikes only |
not yet measured | pending | Sum of the two ordered-bike baseline weights already summarized on Bed Height and Bike Garage | Does not include slide hardware, trays, chargers, locks, helmets, or recovery of batteries removed for charging. Use this as the minimum structural load case for the garage slide-out concept. |
This section owns the physical measurements and in-van capture points still needed to release the remaining electrical rows that are still open on wire gauge, landing point, or package position. Keep the branch logic and protection rationale on Electrical; keep the actual field-capture values here. Use Electrical Requested Final-Branch-Schedule Audit when you need to see exactly which device / fuse / wire / landing / package-position fields each capture row will close, use Exact-Field Gap Register there when you need the single highest-signal finish-line field that is still open on each row, use Active Goal Item Reconciliation there when you want the same capture translated back into the still-open goal-item wording, and use Objective Requirement Audit plus Objective Five-Field Matrix there when you need to check how a capture row retires the explicit goal requirements. The current closeout set is now seven distinct captures, because the MultiPlus AC feeder geometry, the MultiPlus DC cable-path signoff, the front premium-node package-position closeout, and the GFCI/outlet package-position closeout are separate evidence owners. Some of these rows are still open on a five-field requirement directly, while others support rows that are already exact on the requirement itself and only remain non-final because package execution still needs to be physically proven.

Rear DC bond landing within Ford GP29-31 |
Exact stud used, stud size, stack-up room, and cavity access/photo | Rear driver-side rear-lamp / utility-bay cavity at the Ford GP29-31 cluster, or the dedicated-stud fallback in that same cavity |
not yet captured | Final neutral-ground / chassis-bond implementation; the exact landing-point part of the main house battery spine and rear grounding package |
landing point | exact landing point; exact hardware/package fit for the current 1/0 AWG bond package; confirmation that the current grounding direction can lose the fallback caveat |
1. exact stud or fallback-point identifier; 2. stud diameter/thread if observable; 3. existing eyelet count on the chosen stud; 4. whether one 1/0 AWG 1/4 in lug fits cleanly; 5. one cavity photo and one close-up photo |
Ford's indexed 2022MY body guide now closes the location family more tightly than before: GP29, GP30, and GP31 are all van/wagon Bodyside Rear RHS Misc Power Electric ground points. External Ford BEMM mirrors and community evidence around the same ground-point family now make M6 / 1/4 in the current working vehicle-side lug assumption, but the saved local Ford source still does not expose the exact stud hardware, so this row remains a physical capture. Because the current build is a 2025 Transit Cargo Van XL, not an E-Transit, Ford's separate E-Transit create a new 12V ground point note does not disqualify this row. Pass GP29-31 only if the chosen point is a Ford-provided stud on fixed body structure, stays at 1-2 eyelets total, accepts the 1/0 AWG lug cleanly with enough thread for the self-locking crimp hex nut, and does not force split-washer / nylon-lock / drill-screw improvisation. If any of those checks fail, record the dedicated fixed-body fallback location in the same cavity instead of leaving the row ambiguous. |
Front premium 24V node / Orion output area |
Actual usable mounting-surface dimensions, trim interference, and real shared return/feed route lengths for the front 2127 + 2x 7720 node package |
Fixed driver-seat-pedestal / CCP-cover service wall, current front premium-node reservation, and adjacent Orion XS output area | not yet captured | Exact front-node bus/protection method for the Orion-fed front branch; the still-open package-position part of the front premium-node package |
package position | exact package-position confirmation for the current pedestal-wall node; exact trim/enclosure-fit confirmation; exact route-execution basis for the shared front-node return/feed path | 1. usable flat mounting width and height; 2. available depth before trim/interference; 3. note any seat-base, trim, or cover conflicts; 4. one-way shared return/feed path length toward the rear system; 5. one overview photo and one close-up of the candidate wall | Capture the real serviceable wall area that the 2127 + 2x 7720 package can occupy, not just the abstract pedestal zone. Record any cover-removal or trim-service constraint that would change the current package direction. This row retires a package-position gap on a requirement that is otherwise already exact now. |
Shore AC input path 301EL-B -> 8077 -> MultiPlus |
Actual conductor path length and turn geometry from inlet to upstream main to inverter/charger | Driver-side rear utility wall shore inlet, immediate inboard 8077 field, then turn into the rear electrical bay and across to the MultiPlus position on the rear backer |
not yet captured | Final AC breaker allocation in the 8027 package execution; Final GFCI topology package execution; the still-open shore/main geometry part of the accepted AC stack |
package position | exact AC-feeder route-length confirmation for the current shore-input package; exact landing/path geometry for 301EL-B -> 8077 -> MultiPlus; exact upstream-main package-position validity under the Blue Sea 10 ft rule |
1. one-way 301EL-B -> 8077 path length; 2. one-way 8077 -> MultiPlus AC-in path length; 3. summed one-way path length; 4. note any tight bends, trim penetrations, or protection sleeves; 5. one overview photo of the inlet-to-bay path |
Capture the actual one-way path that the 10 AWG AC feeder will follow, not just straight-line cabinet spacing. Note any trim, bend-radius, or protection constraints at the inlet turn. This row supports downstream AC-package execution after breaker allocation and GFCI method are already exact on the requirement itself. |
| MultiPlus DC feed path | Actual positive and negative cable-path lengths from the rear Lynx / negative-bus package to the MultiPlus DC terminals | Rear backer Lynx Distributor MultiPlus branch and rear heavy negative bus to the MultiPlus positive and negative DC landings on the rear backer | not yet captured | the remaining conductor-band part of the MultiPlus branch package after the older 300A versus 175-200A branch-fuse conflict was retired on the owner page |
wire gauge | exact wire-gauge signoff for the current 1/0 AWG minimum / 2x 1/0 open direction; exact path-length confirmation for the accepted Lynx-to-MultiPlus DC package |
1. one-way positive path length from Lynx Distributor branch to MultiPlus positive terminal; 2. one-way negative path length from rear heavy negative bus to MultiPlus negative terminal; 3. note any bends, pass-throughs, or protection sleeves; 4. whether the effective routing stays inside Victron's current short-run band; 5. one overview photo of the finished DC path | Capture the actual routed path, not just face-to-face spacing between the Lynx and MultiPlus bodies. Record any geometry that would force longer cable sweep or larger conductor family than the current short-run assumption. This row is no longer proving a live branch-fuse conflict; it is proving whether the current exact 300A / 1/0 AWG minimum package keeps its wire-gauge signoff on the real path. |
| First-device GFCI and ordinary-outlet package layout | Exact first-device GFCI box location, downstream outlet grouping, and whether the garage/service outlet stays on branch 1 or moves to branch 3 |
Blue Sea 8027 branch 1 source on the rear backer to the planned front/cab, kitchen-counter, sliding-door, and garage/service outlet boxes |
not yet captured | Final GFCI topology; the package-execution part of the exact branch-1 ordinary-outlet chain |
package position | exact package-position confirmation for the first GFCI device; exact outlet-grouping confirmation for the current branch-1 chain; exact basis for whether a later deliberate split changes the present topology | 1. exact first-device GFCI box location; 2. downstream ordinary outlet locations on branch 1; 3. explicit note whether the garage/service outlet stays on branch 1 or moves to branch 3; 4. one simple route/box sketch or markup; 5. one photo per installation zone if available |
Capture the actual outlet-box plan, not just the abstract branch map. This row retires the last package-position caveat on a GFCI method that is otherwise already exact now. |
| Driver-side forward-bench freezer branch path | Actual one-way positive and negative run lengths, slide travel, and required service-loop allowance | Passenger-side 12V service package / slot 11 origin to cross-cabin run to the driver-side forward dinette-bench slide-out freezer bay |
not yet captured | Final fuse sizes and wire sizes for refrigeration and some 12V branches after actual route lengths; the still-open refrigeration branch part of the final branch schedule; the local connector/disconnect part of the freezer package |
wire gauge | exact wire-gauge signoff for the freezer branch; exact landing/package execution for the finished slide harness; exact service-loop and connector/disconnect implementation | 1. actual one-way branch route length; 2. full slide travel; 3. minimum slack needed at full extension; 4. actual planned connector/disconnect location if any; 5. one overview photo of the cross-cabin route and one photo of the slide cavity | Record the actual route the branch will take across the van, the full slide travel, and the loop length needed so the harness is not tensioned at full extension. |
| Mini-split delivered-unit proof package | Delivered-unit running-current evidence, label/manual amp data if present, main power-lead length, and actual branch route length | Delivered 24V mini-split label/manual plus rear branch exit to final condenser/indoor-unit electrical landing path |
not yet captured | Exact mini-split electrical data: fuse, wire, disconnect still provisional; the remaining fuse/wire confidence on the final mini-split branch package |
wire gauge | exact fuse confidence for the current 60A branch direction; exact wire-gauge confirmation for current 6 AWG minimum versus 4 AWG escalation; exact landing/package confidence for the current rear branch path and local disconnect package |
1. readable label/manual amp or current recommendation if present; 2. measured supplied power-lead length and conductor marking; 3. actual branch route length in the van; 4. any powered-test running current or inrush evidence; 5. at least one label/manual photo and one route overview photo | Capture both documentary proof and real routing. If the delivered unit still lacks a usable label/manual, at least record the measured supplied lead lengths and the real van path the branch would follow so the current exact package can be confirmed or deliberately escalated from evidence. |
Use this as the minimum completion check before retiring one of the remaining dominant-field holds on Electrical, namely landing point, package position, or wire gauge, and before treating the associated row as truly release-for-build final:
GP29-31 bond row is only release-for-build final when the capture records one exact stud or one exact dedicated-stud fallback, one usable stud size, and one clean lug-fit answer.301EL-B -> 8077 -> MultiPlus is only release-for-build final when the capture records the actual routed one-way path, not just straight-line spacing, and the route still supports the current 10 AWG / upstream-main package direction.1/0 AWG minimum direction without forcing the longer-cable Victron band.1 or becomes a later branch-3 split.60A / 6 AWG minimum package or deliberately escalate it.When any of the rows above is captured, record the result in this structure so the closeout can be reused cleanly on Electrical:
